Photo 128
The hailstorm, the roofers and the palm tree
When the roofers were replacing the hail damaged roof next door my photo angle put the palm tree in the photo. This is a huge stretch for the half and half challenge, I know!

This definitely has been the year for roof repairs! Insurance companies must really have taken a hit.

I don't think it's a stretch at all- I think it works as a document of your day as well.

Worth the extra stretch -- it clearly tells a story!

Same roof, same sky, same worker(s) but a different point of view so for me it works.

Thank you for your comments and favs, so much. Our neighbor planted that palm tree 15 years ago and it has grown and grown. It is protected by our houses and fences and just keeps growing (it's supposed to be too cold in north Texas for palm trees in the winter). That new roof was the 8th one in our neighborhood since the March 26 hailstorm. Those roofers scamper around like they are walking on the ground, they have no fear!
