Fall is in the air by louannwarren

Fall is in the air

The Crepe Myrtles are losing their flowers, leaving bare flower stems, and the leaves are just beginning to turn pale gold and yellow. Will be glad when the temperature cools down, then fall will really be apparent.
So beautiful !

@drnhtung @mittens @gerry @carole_sandford @danette @henrir @koalagardens @bkbinthecity @onewing @joemuli @linnypinny Thank you so much for your great comments and thank you Henri and Gerry for your favs. We've been lucky this year with the Myrtles, they have held on to their blooms longer than in any year past, that I can remember.

Beautiful capture, Lou Ann...especially viewed on black! You are so right, it certainly doesn't feel like fall with these hot temperatures. This is definitely a Texas fav for me! :-)
