Our friend Todd’s celebration of life was yesterday. I took this photo through the car’s windshield on our way to his service. Todd was 45 and died barely two months after his pancreatic cancer diagnosis. His wife and young 14 year old son have a tremendous support group but as we all know, it’s going to be so hard for them over the next days and months.
So very sorry fir the loss of your friend. Pancreatic cancer is the pits, we know someone who has just been diagnosed too…a 61 year old man with a family. So very sad for his family….so young!
it is really sad to lose a friend; i had three losses during this pandemic and we could not even go to the funeral services. 45 is way too young to die. sometimes at night i pray that instead of a good person especially one who is young and kind and has a family, could i just take his or her place. i've had a good life and i've done all the good deeds that was expected of me to do, why not spare a family the grief. i know it's kind of morbid. i'm sorry for your loss. the photo seems apt. aces!
So sad to to lose a friend at such a still tender age. May he rest in peace. Beautiful capture of the sky in this shot. Looks like even the sky is sad for his loss.
Lovely capture
