Annie’s silver ball rain chain. When I visited my friend Annie in California, I always hoped it would rain so I could take some photos of this gorgeous rain chain doing it’s job. Alas, that never happened. Now she has sold her winery and the rain chain with it. Smile.

@happypat they are hung under a rain gutter’s opening and the rain streams down the decorations, splashing on the ground. Just more decorative than anything else!

I like how the balls stand out in this B&W version. I have never heard about a rain chain, but I can see that it would be nice to look at the rain/water traveling down and getting to the ground.
