Every time I walked by the dining room I missed my chalkware Santas in the snow on top of one of my china cabinets. I had put minimal decorations on the dining room table, and did not put the dining room tree up, so the Santas make everything look better, smile.

Truth be told I did not hide the light cords like my friends do, I have a note in the box of decorations that says “cotton first, lights second, Santas last”. And that’s exactly what I do. I decided several years ago if one of my decorations makes me happy, that’s really all that matters. I’ve loved popping on 365 and seeing your decorations, it’s a lovely time of year!
