Seems so many restaurants have “Instagram walls” now for you to stand in front of for a selfie. This “Coming in hot” wall was at a new hamburger place that we’ve wanted to try. Jerry gave me cash and away I went to order our burgers. I was glad I had a credit card when I got there, as they were cashless! The hamburgers were delicious, the photo is of mine, the dark green layer is roasted jalapeño peppers, my favorite burger topping.
I rarely use cash either these days but it’s a dangerous business not being able to use it illustrated by the recent IT break down. Plus the powers that be will know whatever we do with our money etc! How much we have, how many cash favours we do etc etc.
After all that the meal looks delicious!
I use both cash and card depending on the situation, but places that wouldn't take cash here dipped out during the recent CrowdStrike outage as everything to do with cards shut down.
when a store refuses to take cash for payment, i tell them it's legal tender and illegal to not accept it. although i do use my debit card quite a lot, except for anything below $15. also i don't like using my debit or credit card for taxi's or other places i don't trust so i still carry cash with me. i'm not a meat eater anymore but your burger looks great. aces!
