Beautiful capture. These are very interesting trees. Reminds me of our maple trees in the fall which is such a beautiful colourful collection of leaves before the winter sets in.
@terryliv The are native to Indonesia and Papua New Guinea Terry, someone must have brought them here many moons ago. They are very large and old. The only place I have ever seen them is this tree lined road going up the mountain. @selkie Yes it des Patricia, the bark turns completely white. @cwbill Difficult to tell Bill, the outside is white after shedding the colour. Maybe google can help ;-)
@ludwigsdiana Eucalyptus Deglupta. As you probably know, Eucalyptus is one of the dominant tree species in Aust and I had a feeling that they were elsewhere as well but was unsure. Now I know that this beauty is from a bit further north. Fantastic.
