One of the oldest wine estates dating back to 1699. Since 1994 it is Russian owned and has been modernized in the meanwhile. Wonderful grounds with food stalls, restaurants and an art gallery. The owner also has an old timer collection of 8 Bentleys and Rolls Royce's. They only show Russian artists and photographers and rotate them with an exhibition of Faberge eggs. Unfortunately it was art when we visited there.
Your wine estates are a show of art with these gorgeous-looking buildings and grounds. I have been to a Faberge Museum a few years ago, forgot the name of the place, it was along the shore of Lake Constance
@louannwarren Not that I am aware of Lou Ann, I tried to google but did not come up with anything ;-) @pyrrhula As this family is amongst the wealthiest in the world, I should expect the eggs to be amongst the best money can buy :-) @shutterbug49 I definitely will go back Debbie :-)
