so I got into the car and went on a four hour round trip to the canola fields. I just needed some time to myself and be surrounded by nature.
It did me the world of good and I am much more relaxed now.
As I mentioned, I will be without a laptop until Sunday, so commenting will be difficult. I am going to spend the weekend with my sister and will also not have much time.
Thanking you all for your positive, encouraging words and thoughts. I should be up and running again by Monday, hopefully feeling revitalised.

This is so beautiful! Sometimes getting away is the best thing to do for you. I lost my best friend to leukemia 11 years ago. It was the hardest thing I have ever been through. She is always on my mind, and I still miss her dearly. All I can say is that time does heal the pain. It just doesn't seem like it right now. I hope you have a lovely time with your sister.
