Blue Cranes

I have never in all my life seen so many on one spot. Normally it is either just one, or a couple with a chick or two. They seem have gathered there and waiting for something. We travelled this road twice a year for many years, albeit in a different season.

Love seeing so many Blue Crane together. You don't often see it any more. A few years ago we used to get groups of 30 plus around the valley, now we lucky to see just a pair.
