A handsome fellow, but oh so expensive. It is the 4th most expensive animal in SA. R11 million, which is 805,500 US dollars or 611,340 Pounds Sterling. There is a breeder down the road from where we live.

@yorkshirekiwi @hrs @louannwarren @henrir Game parks buy them, as they are slowly becoming extinct. Unfortunately there are plenty of hunters who would pay a fortune to hunt one. That is the way most of our exotic wildlife ends up! As a trophy on someone's wall :-(
