This is what Fibre broadband is described as! The photos were taken as the installation gradually took place.
Three good things;
1. Instant downloads and action
2. Had to turn the net off while they were connecting and I read my book, made a bacon and egg pie for another picnic, cooked some rhubarb in sous vide, sent off the GST return! Maybe should turn it off more often!
3. I think summer is actually here!
It actually works fast then? Sounds a very good asset for you maggienae.....we haven't any of that near us! Interesting photos showing the installation! Will watch with interest!
@happypat We didn't have to pay for this installation - just take another contract with our provider for the same amount of money! It is virtually instant and one could get very used to it!
Great documentation of the installation work !! they didn't dare but to do a good job for you while you had your camera on them for evidence !! hee hee !!My goodness Maggiemae -- you'll be known as superfast Maggie before long , with your Ruby and now this !! lol !!
@beryl I was using my iPhone 6 which is not so obvious but they stilll knew I was taking photos. Such a nice crew and so friendly! John gave them a couple of beers when they left. It was very hot work!
Great collage of the men at work and I loved your account of your time out from the internet. Do you have a sous vide machine? I have discovered the joys of rhubarb and strawberry compote and have frozen some in small containers.
Great set of shots, Maggie. So glad that your internet is all hooked up. Isn't it great when you click on a site and it's instantly up? Congrats on your broadband! I don't have this kind but my internet is fast and reliable.
