The night was full of stars and this little old church was beautifully illuminated.
On the road to eat at the Twenty Nine Palms Inn, another historic place.
Three good things:
1. Lots of swims in the morning
2. The breakfast was outstanding (included in the tariff) - a vegetable quiche with tomato, greens, caramelised onion and no crust; a dish of fresh fruits including tiny grapes from their garden; a fresh and warm blueberry scone!
3. Bought some goodies at a shop - fresh honey, orange marmalade, coconut chocolates and candles.
Magical light and drama. By the way, somehow my hawk in new background shot got posted twice and your was the only comment on the one I deleted. Thanks for the observations and suggestions. I wondered if it was too close to the ground but then imagined that it had been on the fence post and flew toward me!
