Our journeys continued from Geneva through Paris to Manchester. No decent photograph opportunities so this has to be it! SIL is so good at making these!
Three Good Things:
1. John ordered a wheelchair for Paris connection and boy, was that good - 20 minutes of fast walking by me while he held the bags.
2. Went back an hour to London time - extra time not really needed - tired.
3. A great welcome!
this almost looks like a cover for the drinks menu at Pickle Barrel Restaurant. i probably should do cocktails week again.
aces on the shot, maggiemae!
You're in our cold damp sleety north west.....a bit of a wake up call! I know your time is precious & we have discussed it but feel free to get in touch if you have a window if opportunity! No worries if you haven't, I know what it's like on holiday & precious time with family! 😘
What a splendid looking cocktail. Hope it was as good as you have made it look. Welcome to UK. Hope you can enjoy a little winter sunshine whilst you are here. You are near where I grew up.
@lesip We had a bad accident in 1978 and his ankle was squashed - has had trouble walking for distances ever since. Besides its a quick way to get through customs and to the right gate when its miles away!
Welcome to the UK - what a shame it is so cold and wet at the moment!! It would have been lovely to meet up but I see you are only here for a couple of days and family time is so precious!! Enjoy the rest of your trip. I understand its even colder in Toronto - my friend's son lives there and works in Air Traffic Control - he may even bring your plane in!! Love this image - a dry martini is my favourite drink!! Fav!
