Caught sight of three birds together on our kowhai tree. It wasn’t till I adjusted the contrast that I realised they were starlings.
Three Good Things:
1. Drs visit today meant another 500ml of liquid taken off his wound site but the two doctors who were in attendance thought that skin grafts just might not be necessary!
2. Two tuis visited another kowhai bush - winter flowering, called Dragon's Gold. Lovely pearl like song notes!
3. Friday Fish was blue cod but frozen as they didn't appear to have any fresh fish. Not a good choice as it tasted old. Will remember that!
It must feel better with all that skin stretching fluid taken off....glad about the skin grafts, that would be more suffering & healing....they have to take the new skin off somewhere else so that area would be sore too. Lovely delicate picture & I like the starlings huddled together.
A lovely shot - It has that oriental feel to it ! Sorry to hear John is still having to have the wound drained - - not very nice as it delays the healing ! ( had this problem after a hernia op and the draining went on for a few weeks - but all came well in the end ! )
@happypat We have a hospital appt in Dunedin on Monday so will find out what might or might not happen then! He hasn't been in much pain but lately a bit more.
fingers crossed John doesn't need a skin graft.
