One Moeraki Boulder by maggiemae

One Moeraki Boulder

Two tourists taking a look at just one of the famous Moeraki Boulders. For a better description on these odd geological wonders and in colour, see : http://365project.org/maggiemae/365/2012-12-13

I thought the B&W high key suited the beach scene!
This is awesome! Love the overexposure...fav for me!

@sugarmuser so do I Lyn - it appeals in simplicity!
December 13th, 2012
Great shot, Maggie. Nice treatment too.

I love the way you've isolated what's important in the picture. Is that called selective over exposure? Done on purpose for the effect?
December 14th, 2012
I love the minimalistic approach!
December 15th, 2012
@catwoman2 If selective over exposure means I selected to overexpose it, thats right. All the pale colors disappear into white which is nice sometimes.
December 15th, 2012
they look so tiny
December 15th, 2012
Love this!!
