Shock and Awe...

That my cheap camera could do this much with a moon shot! LOL! I was just experimenting last last night and took a few "passable" pics. NOT great like some of these 365ers with their really nice cameras!!! Still, was really shocked it would do it all! There was a haze around the moon. How the camera picked up this golden glow - I have NO idea!
Amazing what these little cameras can do . . beautiful moon shot! I would love to upgrade my p&s to something much better. Maybe Santa is listening. LOL

This is a very moody shot! Love it!! I am always shocked when I see an amazing capture and notice it was from a point and shoot! @cjwhite has the MOST amazing butterfly close-ups with a p&s! Don't diss the point and shoot!! LOL!!

@princesicita I took about 75 photos playing with all the settings, Princess. I only got about 3 halfway decent shots out of those. But, next time, I can get in the range and know better what to do. Thank you for your comments! =)

@twinsplusone Thank you for your comments, Sharon! Maybe it would be better for me if my little Kodak was a point and shoot - then I wouldn't spend so much time experimenting with its settings. LOL!

Very nice and I know what you mean about "cheap" cameras. I take my pocket camera everywhere so I don't have to haul around my dslr and often times I am amazed by how well shots turn out.

@shonnys Wonderful comments, Shonny! Sometimes, I am disappointed with what it won't do and then there are moments I am so surprised at what it will do! LOL! Thank you so much!
