The wild wisteria is budding and I am anxious to see the draping purple and lavender, heavenly scented blossoms! Hope you guys and gals aren't tired of my "nature" shots. I don't get into town too often to shoot people and buildings and they usually don't turn out too well anyhow. Guess I'm a bit of a recluse out here in the country, but it is where I'd rather be. I do enjoy my solitude and tranquility out here. My home and grounds are my sanctuary. Truly!
I love your nature shots. And I love wisteria! We planted some at our house not knowing that it takes forever to mature! But we get a few blossoms each year. Nice dof!
@sgoodin1 Aww! Thank you so very much, Sara! It took my wild vine just 2 years and it was blooming like crazy the second spring. I had heard used dishwater made a difference, so I watered it with my used dish water. LOL! I use Ivory liquid. Give it a try! Can't hurt!
@ronbee LOL! I find it hard to believe that my little cheap Kodak camera without a special lens can do better than your Canon! Thank you, Ron! I really appreciate your kind comments!
@sugarmuser Aww! Thank you very much, Sharon! Really appreciate your lovely comments!
@jbar I agree, Jonie! Thank you for your lovely comments! Always appreciated!
Love this shot, Maggie. The detail and colors are beautiful. I look forward to the purple that comes next from this plant. I get out once a week to go to the country or park, so do not feel bad. You have what seems to be a very beautiful place and lots to photograph there. Enjoy and so will I one photo a day.
Beautiful dof and close-up, Maggie. You don't have to leave home to get a beautiful shot .. lucky you. We're on the same "bud" wavelength today. But I had to go to the park to get mine. Like you, I love tranquility.
Great detail, love the shot! So know what you mean about enjoying your own little corner of the world. I feel the same way, and hate leaving it in my rear view window to go to work. :-)
Great dof and loving the detail! Can't wait to see a shot of it after it blooms. I'm going to live vicariously through you because I have NO green thumb to do my own gardening like this. I joke that I grow really great sticks because everything seems to just get brown and crunchy when I'm left in charge of it...except kids...good at growing kids. ;)
Nope, I could never get tired of your nature shots. I'm smack in the middle of a concrete jungle and thank goodness for 365 that I can see beautiful country and nature shots! This is a good one, I love all the little details in the texture of the buds. Very pretty DOF, too! Keep doing what you're doing!
Nope i love your nature pictures, mostly they make me want to pack up and come live with you! haha - being around buildings and people gets tiring quickly (especially this week! LOL) love the focus on this one, lots of lovely details - keep em coming! x
I never tire of nature shots, and your's are always so good. Keep um coming girl... Nice shot here and I love wisteria vines. I have a couple i'm trying to tame around my arbor.
@lindag Thank you, Linda! I wish I did have to go to work. Would be nice but, was laid off LAST March and no one seems to want to hire the over 55 crowd. I have to stretch my dollars and driving around burning up gas, as high as it is now, just isn't feasible.
@copperheadglass Hoping it will bloom, Meredith. Temps dipping into the low 30s at night. These buds may not make it. It budded too soon. Thank you for your comments!
@tryeveryday LOL! Michelle, this is a wild vine that I dug up and planted in my yard. I water it with used dishwater because someone told me it was good for it. I trim it when it gets out of control (and it does) and that's it. Pretty simple care. I'm sure you could do that. =) Thank you for your comments! Really appreciate your time to view and comment on my pic.

@fredia Thank you so much, Fredia! Appreciate your comments! Have you tried watering them with used dishwater? I use ivory liquid. Someone once told me that the wild vine liked it so that's what I water it with when we get little rain. It grows like crazy!
@heidievans73 Wow! It just might be some jasmine, too! Maybe hubby can get you back there later on. Thank you for your comments, Heidi! Always appreciated!
fabulous detail on these buds. i love your nature shots. you always bring out something beautiful in the everyday world. i'm not a big nature person myself but these give me a new appreciation. :)
We have no problem seeing more of the natural habitat of the elusive marlboromaam. LOL! This is a great photograph, with great composition and dof. Hope we get to see a shot of it in full bloom.
Your "cheap little Kodak" takes some amazing pics, but it's the *person* behind the camera that makes all the difference. Without your unique vision of the world to guide it and show it what to capture, the camera may as well be a paperweight.
gorgeous details and lighting here!! i never tire of your nature shots :) Maybe it is because i am a farm gurl myself and appreciate mother nature just the same :)
Great capture!
Cheers :)
