Wildflower - American Burnweed

I was anxiously waiting to see this little wildflower fully bloom, but the heat got the better of it. I need to clarify that this pic was taken before the plant wilted in the heat and before it fully bloomed. It looks better than I typically feel when am wilting in the sun... love all the spiky stuff on the leaves.

@bruni Yes, this pic was taken before it wilted in the heat. It's bloom heads are hanging down all wilted and drying up now.
