Although it feels like July out there now. This is Erigeron strigosus - commonly known as Daisy Fleabane, Common Rough Fleabane, Prairie Fleabane or Slender Daisy Fleabane. @milestonevisualmedia LOL! All I do is search the above site by description and compare their images to mine, and read about the characteristics to ID what I find. It's not hard and I like to learn about what grows on my little patch in the woods. =)
@joysabin Thank you! I believe there are varieties all over the north American continent. Probably some variety in Europe and the UK too. Interestingly, I thought we had two varieties, but I think there's only one around here. Sometimes, the blooms appear much bigger than these. I'll have to check more thoroughly when I see them.
