To my maternal grandparents who had more of a profound impact on my life than my mother ever imagined. It's why I love and live in the country, why I crochet, why I love to cook and entertain my friends. My grandmother raised four children during the Great Depression. She was recycling and repurposing everything out of necessity - before it became politically correct and/or stylish these days. God love them! They were precious, loving, kind and salt of the earth kind of people.
