South Carolina state wildflower is about to bloom...

The Carolina wild jasmine is about to burst into blossom! When my wild vines begin to bloom and I can smell the scent on the air, I know spring is here. Phone shot rendered in Pixel Bender and Photoshop textures.

@mittens Thank you, Marilyn! The leaves of the wild jasmine stay mostly green all year round. It's a semi-evergreen vine and sheds last year's leaves after it blooms when new leaves appear.
