I confess I stopped to take a couple of pictures when I should have been rushing home, but I was obsessed with the snowy branches (see my other shots from the same day.) Frank had almost finished making our dinner when he realized he had forgotten to pick up a prescription that he needed the next day. Since the drugstore is open late on Thursday I offered to run downtown to pick it up. Had to drive around a couple of blocks to double back and find a place to park so I was already running late. The camera didn't reproduce what I saw, but I think I like it better.
@jan20@leanne333@fugitivemoments@deborahortiz@vignouse Jan, Leanne, Linda, Deborah, and Richard. Thanks so much for the comments and favs. This is lighter than the somewhat darker sky I was looking up into. The streetlights are lower than the tree so what looks like light from above is the snow on the branches. It is SOOC -- handheld, so the high ISO I used to avoid it being too blurry has given it a grainy, almost painterly look that could be something applied using post processing, but wasn't. So glad you folks like it too. I like the word "ethereal" Richard.
