Baking pan detail

Actually, the subject of this shot is more the fake jewels/pearls than the baking pan. Taken for my get pushed challenge from Lynne @lynne5477 to "take an ordinary object and create an image with it that is not so ordinary." Alternate shots that are picture more of the baking pan found here:

This one is probably the one I like the best of the three.
@lynne5477 And the last. A closer shot of just part of the pan and contents.

I did my first year here with an automatic, and I guessing you have some ability to change the shutter speed on your camera. I was thinking for this week's Get Pushed, you could slow down your shutter speed and capture some blurred movement. Please let me know if that's not something you can do, and I will gladly come up with a different challenge. Good luck.

My favorite of your "challenge" shots. The jewels are definitely the most interesting and love that you have a close up shot. Very nice.

@stephomy -- Thanks. I don't have any way to directly set shutter speed -- no shutter priority setting. One time when I was given the challenge of light painting I figured out how to force it slower by setting the ISO at 100 and managed to get some very rudimentary light circles etc. I also once experimented with different ISO and exposure settings aiming at the ceiling fan and posted a collage that, well, wasn't as boring as it could have been. Ha ha. I'm sure I can find something more interesting to aim the camera at. I have managed to get motion blur on purpose with car wheels and unintentionally with a variety of other subjects, so I'll look around for something to experiment with. According to the online specs the range of shutter speed the camera is capable of goes from 1 sec to 1/1,600. Stay tuned.
