The get pushed challenge given me by Ashley @shesnapped was the same one I gave to her: a picture the 10 year old you would have taken. When I was a kid I spent a lot of time up in trees -- the cherry tree in our back yard, trees out at the farm, trees in the city park. I admit I'm faking it here. I was standing on the flat roof at the back of our house, looking through some branches of an overhanging tree. It produces some of the same thrill, though, of being up high. Maybe because I'm short, I've always loved looking at things from heights. I wouldn't have the nerve to stand upright at the edge of a cliff with no railing, but I'd probably lie down at the edge and look over. Here's an old picture looking down at the city park that I really took from up in a tree: https://365project.org/mcsiegle/theme-months/2019-08-20
@shesnapped This is probably the shot that most closely resembles what my 10 year old self might have taken. See the shot in my other album that I did take back then when just a few years older.
Wish I still could! ;)
Great response to the challenge
