I don't remember doing it, but it looks like I scratched our initials into the defective finish that the guys who did our upstairs bathroom put on the outside of the old door we re-hung. Unlike the side that faces into the bathroom, the outside started to turn white and look icky. Since we settled for a number of years with just using a curtain instead of the door, I've been in no hurry to take it down and sand that off and see what we should put on it.
