The End (of the experiment)

Kali's get pushed challenge to me was to try out slow sync flash. See my other two posts for most of the explanation of my experimentation. She did say that I could try moving the camera for some possibly interesting effect. I did try that just a bit in the first outdoors 1/2 of the experiment and got some uninspired motion blur ICM (but may try more sometime when mosquitoes aren't a factor) This photo is the result of a half-hearted last attempt, which left me with only 1/2 of the dino in frame but a strange sense that instead of my moving the camera, HE had moved out of frame. Or, perhaps he moved AND I panned with him causing the background to blur. Most strange of all is the streak seen here on the black cloth I had laid on the tray table for the last shots I took. Seriously folks, is that the drag mark of a dusty, dirty tail? It's not there on any of the previous stationary shots.

Sorry to leave you here with the rear end of a dinosaur. If this is the first you are seeing of these three shots, here are the other two:

Spectacular "end" to your experimentation! I enjoyed the narrative as much as the picture

Wow! I'm impressed with the work you put into this. Will this be a technique you'll use again (without be challenged to do so)?
