Used that iPhone feature I've been making use of to lift it off the background. When you do that you get what you lifted as a PNG file. I took screen prints of it the way it normally appears with white background, and against the black background that you get when you touch it. Cropped both white and black into squares, then went about duplicating them alternately until I had the nine. Then I just took a screen print of the thumbnails in my photos app and cropped everything except those nine squares. I do sometimes work really hard on what I post, but this wasn't one of those. 🤣
