It was sunny today and, for once, I noticed and took the time to bring my camera out to the back porch before late afternoon/evening to take advantage of the light. I've still not taken the time to really get comfortable with this camera. I had gotten used to the Nikon Coolpix and felt I knew how to use that. But it's so dirty inside that for most situations, the photos end up with dark or blurry places. So I've just been relying on the iPhone, which has its definite limitations.
I'm also needing more ideas for pictures of the trunk (military field desk) that is my 30 shots subject. So I enlisted the help of the dinos, who I've been sadly neglecting. We need to have more photo shoots together. I showed them the camera and the book I bought to help me learn. Most of the dinosaurs and Neanderthal Men were as intimidated by the new camera as I am, but not the Dimetrodon. The Dimetrodon was quite interested in the camera. You may (or may not) recall his desire to be a photographer like Chris Johnson's little friend CJ, and his experience with my camera (the one prior to the Coolpix) some years ago. http://365project.org/mcsiegle/365/2015-06-15
They agreed to help me come up with ideas for the "30 shots" challenge, and convened a meeting right then and there, to make a list of possibilities. I took a picture (with the new camera!) of the meeting: http://365project.org/mcsiegle/theme-months/2020-04-18
