I dusted off and set up one of the two old Mac computers that had been sitting in the corner. As I suspected, there was almost nothing left on it, but it gave me a nostalgic rush when I turned it on and was greeted by the little, smiling icon. I pulled a few items back out of the digital trash to look at them. Took crude shots of a couple, though they weren’t really vitally important to keep. Then I unplugged it, and put it on a dolly to go back in the garage until such time as COVID-19 restrictions don’t prevent taking it to be safely disposed of as e-waste. I angled it toward the wall to eliminate as much glare and reflection as possible when I took the photos of the screen.
