30 Shots - April 26

After the less than enthusiastic response to the last drawer expedition photo shoot, I hesitated to invite more dinos onto the trunk. But I have a bunch of photos left to take of the trunk/military field desk for this blasted 30-shot challenge. So, since I had recently washed off a bunch of rocks that had been lying around the porch gathering dust, and a number of them were fossils, I though there might be some dinosaurs interested in seeing them. I managed to round up the Plesiosaurus, the Mosasaurus, Stegosaurus, Dimetrodon, and the Apatosaurus youngster who wasn’t part of the previous shoot. They were interested (thank the Lord, as there is no duller photo than one of of a bunch of dinos bored out of their skulls!). The Mosasaurus and Plesiosaurus did already know that the fossils were from an ancient sea bed, but were very pleased to be able to examine them. I may sink a couple of the fossil rocks in a pail of water and let the two of them explore in the manner that is most natural to them.
Oh, I like this one a lot.FAV

@grammyn Katie, thanks! You’re too quick — come back and read the narrative that I just finished posting.
