Day 22 Yulara, Ayers Rock Campground
Wow, I've competed my first year on 365.
I can't believe that we are in Central Australia and have had rain for the last 5 days. Uluru (Ayers Rock) was wreathed in cloud this morning and we did a few walks in light rain. There wasn't enough rain to make large waterfalls, but we did get to see a small amount of water flowing into a waterhole at the base of the rock. It was a great way to spend my birthday and such a treat to see rain on the rock.
I've been here on a school trip too many years ago to mention. haha

Fantastic shot, you are so lucky to see rain on the rock, there is no better way to see it. I used to live at Yulara so I have seen it everyday and this is my favourite. I hope you still walked around it and checked out all the waterfalls.
