Day 23 Yulara
Thank you all for your kind words and wishes for my birthday, yesterday.
Today we watched the sunrise and sunset over Uluru. The rock was wreathed in cloud this morning, but the cloud cleared away to give us a beautiful day. We did a couple of walks at Kata Tjuta around mid morning.
Tomorrow we turn for home and after much deliberation, we've decided to take the dirt across the desert. We'll have over 900km of dirt road and will only pass through a couple of settlements, before we reach Laverton. The road is open after the recent rains, so hopefully it will be ok. I'll still be taking lots of photos, but won't have internet for a few days.
