Same neighbor (oh, to have her talents in the garden) another of amarylis I think. Just darkened the background. Now I have color this month.

@falcon11 Thanks for the flower identification, Allison. Definitely not my strong suit. Just have a wildlife identification book, not the neighbor's garden. May have to ask her to post little tags with her flowers. :)

Amaryllis is flower grown from a bulb They are usually indoors and in a pot are especially popular at the holidays.

@falcon11 I guess that's why these confused me - I picture the amaryllis at Christmas in the house. These are in her front yard. She said she has 9 planted now of differing colors. Definitely has a green thumb.
