Same Position Every Place

I've never figured out why the dainty sulphurs always have this position in early morning any where that you see them. It looks like it would be uncomfortable.

Maybe it has to do with their sense of balance as the day warms up? Pretty photo, though. I like the morning glow.

He does look most uncomfortable! He is probably loving his "sleep" or whatever he is doing. If you see it often it must be part of their habit.

Great detail on the eye...maybe they night over like that so the dew falls off them or doesn't get on them as much? Just guessing.
