Need to Learn to Balance the Load

These finches need to spread apart some - they're tilting the boat! If I straighten the feeder, the fence line is crooked. The feeder is straight when no one is on it This is a genuine Razorback (University of Arkansas) bird feeder - not that the birds care but the touch of color is good.
Sweet capture and what a jolly bird-feeder!

That's too funny both of them on the same side but you called it! They do need to learn to balance the load. We're just very picky when it comes to straight lines I'm sure no one will notice that it isn't even with the fence line.
You have a fun bird - feeder...

Nice shot and love that bird feeder. Looks like a very solid (over-engineered) construction. What is the connection with the University ??

Haha. I think they're trying to balance the razorback. Bit of a weight difference.

Love the off balance! Great capture!

Great capture. I like the off balance look because it looks so normal. My bird feeder is often at an angle.

@tonydebont Two points here - this was given to me by a friend who's daughter was a basketball player for the Arkansas Lady Razorbacks as a remembrance of that friendship. The University was the Cardinals until 1910 when they voted to change in to Razorbacks to connect to the large number of these feral hogs in northwest Arkansas in the early days. They were known for their tenacity - football fans picked up on that quickly.

@milaniet Thanks Milanie, the Razorbacks sounds like a great name for a University sports team. Thanks for adding to my education.
