Best on black. This large oak is on the bank of the creek. The left side is a very strong yellow/orange while the right side is a deep red/orange - makes a neat looking tree.
Wow, those firey leaves glow! I like that you included the trunk of the tree with its blue green lichen...nice contrast to the leaves. Lucky you to still be finding Fall color!
There must be some natural reason the tree has the two colors -- the sunlight maybe? Does it produce two colors every year? Regardless, it's a beautiful photo.
