Actually, I use the word "weed" rarely because in my language "weeds" (Unkraut) means something negative. And for me plants are mostly positive. (I exclude neophytes which surely sometimes are beautiful, but grow in the wrong places. What we humans are to blame.)
Mona, "Weeds" in English are generally seen as an uncontrolled plant growing where you may not want them. That aside, they ought to be recognized for their hardiness and tenacity, and, in moments like this, as you pictured it, for their beauty!
