These certainly are not the best pictures I've taken. I didn't realize until it was too late that I didn't have my camera set right so most of them came out blurry. But it does give you an overview of my big day with the Class of 2011. From the bottom right: Kaitlyn reads the class Bible verse on her tip toes; a pendant my friend Dianne gave me which I wore in honor of the graduates; the school name and logo; the subject of my graduation speech- you never know what seeds will do when you throw them into the soil based on a personal story of some pumpkins which grew in my yard once; the Class of 2011; family and friends congratulating the grads afterwards.
I will never forget this day, not only because it was an honor to be chosen by this class to be their speaker, but also because they surprised me by dedicating the yearbook in my honor. Wow! I am grateful that I made a difference in their lives, but more than that I am grateful that they were entrusted to my care. Sometimes I think they impacted me more than I impacted them. What a fantastic group of young people! Congratulations to the Class of 2011!!
@jmj Thanks Jennifer- I have to say your words the day before made a huge impact on me (the person is the message) and helped me to realize the ending wasn't as important as relating to the class how much they meant to me. So thanks- both for the wise words and for the comment!
Ann- I want to thank you for your frequent kind words and support . I am so glad you stopped by one day and we became friends.
What a great honor to have this class dedicate their yearbook to you. I know that is something you will never forget. And now you have this lovely collage to remind you, as well.
