@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @filsie65 Thanks Phil! @anazad511 Thanks Ana! @karenann Thanks Karenann! @smithak Thanks Smitha! I have little pieces all over the house. I especially love the glass in my windowsill and the colors when the sun shines through. @ruthmouch Thank you Ruth! @digitalrn Thank you Rick! I think it's closest to a very light aqua- but I can see in this shot some teal undertones. It's probably due to the lighting. @maggiemae Thanks Maggie! I placed the votive on a marble top which was basically a light silver-gray. I think that kept other tones from showing up in the reflections. @groovygirlrn Thanks Sheri!
I like this, Ann! Like the fish scale type pattern and then the inner circle at first appears to be drizzling down, so I thought it was a bubble...with liquid running down.
@cimes1 Thank you Carole! I'm glad to hear all went well. @dishaparekh176 Thank you Disha! I wanted to use something throughout the week that would be bright and colorful in the thumbnail. @lyoungs1023 Thank you Elizabeth! @alia_801 Thank you Alia! @mrssmith Thank you Carla! @sarasdadandmom Thank you Terry! @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen! Yes, they are. So far they've all been pieces that were either gifts or handed down to me. I don't really collect glass, but I do love the pieces I have. I love the way light comes through glass- whether it's stained glass, a prism, or something decorative. @lyno Thank you Lyn! It's a small collection, but I do love the pieces I have. @espyetta Thanks MaryBeth! I shot this looking in to the center of the votive. It's pretty small, but it worked. The actual texture on the outside of the candle is bumpy- like glass cobblestones. On the inside it's smooth because I believe this piece was poured in a mold (you can see a seam at the bottom). @kimmistephens Thanks Kimmi! @ellimae Thanks Ellen! Well, almost every color. I don't really have a purple piece, but I do think I thought of a solution to that problem yesterday. I have to dig it out of storage today. @nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! @beachradish Thank you Beachradish! I'm pleased with how it's shaping up! @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian! @potsbypam Thanks Pam! @salza Thanks Sally. It does have that appearance on this inside, but it's actually bumpy on the outside. I think this is a poured piece (not that old). You can see a seam at the bottom. @sangwann Thank you Dione! @automaticslim Thanks Andy! Yes, it is. I'm really liking the color progression. And of course, now I'm impatient to post the last color so that I can see it in its entirety. @paulavdmerwe Thank you Paula!
perfect blue. i was just looking at your thumbnails and it's shaping up beautifully! lovely perspective on this. you had this all figured out. i'm winging mine and ETSOOIng them to the max.
@summerfield Thanks Vikki. When Alia posted the itinerary I started thinking about what I had that had all the colors of the rainbow. Glass was the first thing that came to mind. But I knew purple was going to be the challenge since I don't own much of anything in purple! However I did find a solution today so I'm good to go tomorrow.
