A good friend of mine says blue is the color of heaven. Sounds good to me- I've always loved this color in any shade!

Mum used to say she had told us xyz 'until she was blue in the face'...! If she was this gorgeous colour she might not have minded! Love the cobalt blue, I have a lot of it in my coloured glass collection and have loved seeing yours this week. Can't wait to see Violet tomorrow,.....!
Gorgeous dark blue! I'm loving everyone else's blue shots :) (Mine didn't quite work out as hoped, and nor did my rainbow, but everyone else is doing a brilliant job!). I'm stuck for similies - I'm sure there are loads and I can't think of any!

There were a lot of good songs about blue from that era! @woot Thanks Davide! A partial coincidence. Most of my glass pieces are round or circular (like plates and votives) so the pictures naturally lend themselves to circles but by orange I'd decided to keep things in the round for the overall look of the thumbnails as well. So when it came to dark blue I chose to use this bottle as opposed to the other one I have which is square at the base. Thanks for noticing.
