I put up the Christmas lights today and all my Christmas angels. The house looks so cheery and I love the glow of the Christmas lights at night. But while I was hanging them, I thought it would be fun to purposely take a shot that was over exposed to see what would happen. I kind of like the result.
@pjonas Thanks Patty! @sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry! @sangwann Thanks Dione! @la_photographic Thanks Laura! @alia_801 Thanks Alia! @cimes1 Thanks Carole! @prttblues Thanks Bev! @dmortega Thanks Dorrena! Yes, I'm enjoying the way the calendar looks although I haven't really been thinking big picture as much on this one. You did a great job in putting this one together! @jackie8 Oh please do! All my ideas are for sharing! I actually took this while holding the garland. The living room has the best light during the day so that's where I shot it.
Thank you all for the great comments- this was a fun experiment!
@dmortega I'm really liking the festive look. The last time I was really focusing on the big picture look of the calendar was back in the summer! We were doing a couple challenges that went on a weekly basis- color shots, b/w shots, shape shots, etc. It was a lot of fun.
Thank you Maggie, Ellen and Kerri! So glad you like my little experiment!
