Judy's Gardenia is blossoming right now. There buds in all stages. But this fully opened beauty took center stage when all was said and done. It was a perfect shot for the Black and White Wednesday thread too.
Our new floor is down and it looks great. The sander will come tomorrow and then Jeff will start treating it with tung oil for a rich honey color. I can't wait to see it done! In the meantime the house looks like a rat maze! Forgive me if I'm spotty with views and comments for a while. Part of me doesn't know whether I'm coming or going!

I got your note about Fri/Sat. It would be fun to run about with you but the floor schedule was mixed up this week, the house is a crazy mess and I'm behind on a couple important things that I should really take care of (can you spell procrastination!?). This is truly a beauty, and I like how thick these petals look. Also, the floor, oh I feel the pain of being in the middle of the project, but it will soon be over and wow, you will love it.

my mother used to have a large gardenia bush in front of our house when we were still little children. i'd always pluck the best looking flower to give to her, even though she'd tell us she wants the flower to stay in the plant. hahaha! good think gardenias look good in black and white. nice one.
