A Spot of Sunshine

When Nada and I saw this little buttercup on our walk through The Great Swamp, I thought it would be great for some selective color processing. I love the way the yellow jumps off the page.

Nice to see yellow as SC! It often seems to be used with red, which pops anyway with SC..... nicely done!

@nadaa Thanks Nada! Once in a while I see something and know exactly how I'll process it- and that's how it was with the buttercups. What a great expedition that was!

poor buttercup got nibbled all over. good thing the selective colouring still made it come alive and lovelier.

@summerfield Thank you Vikki! It actually looked "whole" in the full color version. The nibbles only show up when you take the color out of the background.
