It's Back!  by olivetreeann

It's Back!

The couch moved back into the house today. If I could hug a couch, I'd hug this one. It's really comfy! And although the upholstery is definitely 80's and definitely NOT my style, sitting on this fellow in front of the fire on a cold winter's night brings me great joy!
Awesome shot

@kerristephens @eniaral

Thanks Kerri! Thanks Laraine! Just having some fun with the processing. Things aren't in their permanent place yet, but it's functional.

@taffy Thanks Taffy! I applied some effect to it, but eventually (after everything has been moved back in and is where it belongs) I'll put together a collage of beginning to end. But for now, this will do. (o:

You don't want to hug a couch. You want a couch that hugs you. It is looking good.

Things are getting back to normal! Nice processing.

You must be so pleased the floor is finished. I am in the market for a great big comfy couch so I can curl up and read a good book.

Nice shot, Ann! :) Glad you have the couch back! And you can hug it. I'm sure it wouldn't mind. Love the setting. It's inviting. Job well done!

Made me smile. Really fun processing.

Hey, comfort is everything, and style is second in most cases. I love my comfy chair.

@pandorasecho This is definitely a hugger!
@eudora Thanks Diane!
@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole- believe it or not there are still one or two places that don't seem dry. But we've had lots of rain and damp days, so the drying continues to move at a s...l....o...w pace!
@prttblues Thanks Bev! It will eventually turn the other way. Right now the lamp and bookshelves next to it are in front of the woodstove. They will move to the opposite wall and the couch will get turned around. The lamp will stay near the woodstove and go next to the stuffed chair for reading a good book in front of a cozy fire.
@edie Thanks Edie! It was a lack-luster shot until the Processing Fairy visited.
@digitalrn Thanks Rick! It is eventually going to get reupholstered but first the roof must be done.

A truly lovely homely shot. When it's time to relax it doesn't matter what colour, design, you name it.

@sangwann So true Dione- thanks! But I'm looking forward to the day when I can get rid of those ugly colors- lol.
