Snowflakes on My Whiskers

Do these snowflakes on my whiskers make me look fat?

Not at all, they make you look adorable

He looks cold but is still thinking about food! Gorgeous composition that has happened with your focus - the tree trunk, the squirrels tail and his expression! fav

Yes they do, but it's ok!! Fat in the winter is GOOD!! Means you're warm!! LOL What a cute capture and awesome details with those flakes on his whiskers!! Beautiful lighting and clarity also!! FAV!

Yes.............you need the fat to get through the winter!

How cute. He does look a bit chubby, but I don't think it was the snowflakes on his whiskers that did it.

Many, many, many thanks!! I'm glad you like my little chubby buddy. For those of you who took note of how well he eats, I must confess I don't like them hanging on my birdfeeder SO as a compromise, I toss a few handfuls of seeds on the ground each day. It alwasys surprises me how well the Juncos, Blue Jays, Mourning Doves, Cardinals and squirrels get along while they feed. No one fights and no one squabbles- well, maybe the squirrels do with each other every once in a while!

A wonderful photo. Brought a smile to my face as it brought memories of a happy day in London with our son last August. As an Aussie I was so surprised at how small they are!

PS Love the frame within the frame too.

I love these guys. You got some terrific lighting here on your well fed looking friend! Great shot!

@weebindi2 Thank you Helen! I'm glad it brought on some good memories. I love this frame too as it finishes off the picture but still allows the shot to fill the whole plane. I use Smart Photo Editor which calls it vignette plus (I usually fade the vignette out though) but I'm sure other programs have the ability to do this as well- it might just have a different name.

@milaniet Thanks Milanie! I get some really nice lighting in my yard during the afternoon so I usually set up my tripod at the back door then and watch the antics at the bird feeder. Something startled this fellow and he scampered up the tree. One of those being at the right place at the right time moments and fortunately I was able to pull it off hand-held.
