Our camera club had a get-together today. We call them "Shoot Outs" and they're a great chance for us to have some fun and get some shots of a variety of places around here. Today we braved the 10 degree weather (!!) and went to several locations including this amazing ice formation. This is just a small section of it, but I loved the contrast of the ice against the blue sky.
Great shot, Ann! I need to find a place like this around her but we have brooks and no waterfalls. We have ice that comes off the rocks from where they built the roads and stuff but that looks nothing like this. This is stunning. And this is a fav! I wish it were 10 degrees here today! It didn't even get that high and when the wind blew, it went right through denim. Glad you survived the cold!
wow! see what we do for our craft! i hope you were standing up when you took this and not crouching. just the thought makes my back to throb and my knees are grumbling!
