Working with texture today and once again using Gibson's exercise to crop the subject closely to emphasize certain components of the picture. In this case it's the design in the leather of the Family Bible and the heavily guilt edges of the photo album on top.
Lovely Ann fav. Gibson's book has proved very insightful. I'm learning second hand! Gibson must be a powerful name, I recommend my trainees to get a book on teaching Shakespeare by Rex Gibson as it's a brilliant manual.
