This week the Hang It All theme is featuring pictures we'd hang in our living room. I have always had a painting hanging over my mantle so this week I'm taking some of my photos and turning them into paintings.
Today's photo was originally taken in Israel at the Jordan River in the year 2003. We were there early in the morning as the fishermen were returning from their night-fishing.
@salza Thank you Sally! @alia_801 Thank you Alia! @maggiemae Thank you Maggie! For my "cousin", it's free. If you truly want it, send me your email and I will send you the file. Olivetreeann@mail.com
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! @susale Thank you Suse! @francoise Thank you Francoise! @pyrrhula Thank you Pyrrhula! @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian! Yes very, very special. This area is most likely the spot where John the Baptist was preaching and baptizing when Jesus came to see him (the Traditional site- Yardenit- is very pretty but not geographically correct).
A great idea. I cannot wait until I finish painting our living room because I plan on doing many of our vintage family photos, baby photos, parents and grandparents and put them on display.

Thank you Lisa, Taffy and Rick!
I'm sure your wall is going to look fantastic with all your family shots. My mom did that in one of the houses we lived in. I loved it so much I copied it in one of our apartments. But in this house it's everything in frames on the mantle.
@bill_fe Thanks Bill! I wasn't sure how I was going to tackle it at first, but it came to me "why not literally hang the pictures in the living room?" and this week's unity was accomplished- you know it had to match the other two weeks in my ocd mind!
@pandorasecho Thanks Dixie! This would look lovely and it does have a special meaning to me, however the painting that's there does too. It was painted by my father's cousin. It probably needs to be cleaned but I'm not sure where or how to get that done. I'm pretty sure it would brighten it up a bit. @bruni Thank you Bruni!
@Weezilou Thank you Louise and thank you so much for the fav!
