A sunny flower taken in Milford, Pa. (the official shoot date was September 10th but I was saving it for later in the month because I wanted to finish out the month with "s" shots.
A great fav. capture of this lovely and beautiful flower.
I soon will be December. Weather and circumstances permitted I will be there .
Thank you for you nice lines, the congrats and the fav. Much appreciated
Wow! Thank you so much for all the views, comments and favs that put this shot on the PP! I truly appreciate all the encouragement and support I get here and you're the reason for it!
@alia_801 Good question! I haven't thought about a challenge for October. Last year some folks did a month of pink for Breast Cancer Awareness but having just done a month of yellow for Children's cancer I don't know if I'd want to do a whole month of pink now (plus I really don't have a lot of pink to begin with!). Do you want to do one of our old ones or come up with a new one? I guess we'd better come up with something quick! Maybe we should just follow the October list- then we don't have to think up anything at all! hehe
@alia_801@olivetreeann
I don't want to butt in on a personal conversation but I was reading your thing about a theme for Oct. I was thinking of re-doing one from last year that some folk participated in, circles cropped/presented in a square format. Actual circles, found circles, architecture ... not sure if you'd be interested, especially you Ann as you have done circles this month. Just thought I'd put it out there.
@alia_801 Great, I think its always fun to do something with someone to get that little extra motivation... if you decide to do it we could tag it circles2015?
@dibzgreasley@alia_801 Glad you piped in Debs! I have no problem doing more circles as it can be any kind! So, let me just get this clear- you take the circle shot, but crop it to a square? I'll have to get busy looking for some around the house to start off! LOL I've been in such a lazy mode this week! So circles2015 it is!
@olivetreeann@alia_801
Hi ladies.
Last year someone (who isn't on 365 anymore, Gewnillian?) initiated a challenge called circles in squares, which I tried. It was quite fun. So yes a photo of something circular (manmade, natural, anything really), and then cropped to be square in post processing (unless your camera can do that?). I know there are some smartphones apps that cam, but I'm rambling...
@olivetreeann@alia_801
Oh I forgot to say that I am doing a different theme each day of the week to maintain my interest and to push me a little to take photos out of the house otherwise my whole month will be of house things!
So
Monday = small details / Tuesday = Building details / Wed = Nature / Thur = Vehicles / Fri = Signs / Sat = House and Home / Sun = B&W
Well, thats the plan anyway!
You are most welcome to join me or if too structured go with your flow.
Cheers
@dibzgreasley@olivetreeann I already got my pic for the day, and tagged it circles2015... I will definitely look to your list if I need inspiration, Debs!
@dibzgreasley@alia_801 I immediately thought of Alta (I think that was her name) who would do month long themes like this- so mine will probably be reminiscent of hers (she did a month of ladders and basketball hoops- amazing there were so many of each!). Oh good- I was worried about that square crop- so now I'll just do circles as it best fits the picture. I don't know if I'll need the extra requirements each day- I already had fun finding a bunch of circles in the backyard today while stacking wood! This has turned into a great follow-up! Thanks again Debs!
Do you have any ideas for an October challenge? I feel like it's time to finally get around to doing another one, but I'm all out of ideas!

@cjphoto Thank you Chris!

Sometimes it works quite well, sometimes not, so I'm not sure that I will do all of them with square crop. These are some that I did last year http://365project.org/dibzgreasley/tags/circles-in-squares.
So shall we go with circles and do the square crop if it works? Happy with circles2015 or circles-in-squares2015?
